I noticed yesterday Dawg House is now open at the Haywood Mall food court. Diggers BBQ is under construction. Nice to see some more new additions.

I gotta say though Showmars is my favorite place place to eat there. I wish they would add some freestanding locations in the upstate like they have in the Charlotte area.

The combos with drink and fries in the 6 to 7 range. They had a pretty extensive menu of them including corn dogs. Still a little cheaper than going to Chick-fil-a sometimes. That gets a little pricey and those Chinese places in the food court have gone up.

I have always said that mall needs a Corndog place. Seems like the perfect walk around mall food and kids like them. I remember back in the day when malls had those "Hot Dog on a Stick" and "Corndog 7" franchises.

He does a ton of events and catering.. The mall location likely would drive that business up some. So, that may be part of his logic on having it.

I seem to remember a Corndog 7 at the Anderson mall back in the late 70's/early 80's when I was a kid.. Really good. You could smell that place through the whole mall.

I've said many times that I wish Showmars had more locations. They're one of my favorite spots and they have the best onion rings around.
