Sorry I was MIA but had lots going on--took Bella in today for her teeth cleaning and possibly a tooth pulled and a bath. I just worry about the anesthesia but the vet felt she would do fine.....still I worry. I haven't slept for 2 nights because she is on my mind. I will call in a couple of hours to see how she is doing. BuBu is a wreck without her here.
Enjoy the company elston!
Elkotronics I am so happy to hear of all the great things happening in your life right now. Keep it up!
My sister will be here Wed and I still have not cleaned this house. I have to start it today! After I call about Bella maybe I can stop worrying and get busy! I just can't believe how grief can keep grabbing you and pushing you backwards........even after nearly 2 years. I am so looking forward to things getting easier.

Thank you, Dude111 and cynwldkat! Thanks to all of you on here because you're a helpful, upbuilding group of city-data'ers! cyn - like I said the other day, I can say things will get better and I hope they do, but I would find it so hard to go through what you're going through, I really would. I pray for your life to improve, for things to get better for you and for things to go well for your animals, too. Keep caring for them and keep encouraging them along, too. We have noticed that our animals notice it when we're down...they're very receptive to...feelings. They're very sensitive. I know you'll properly care for them and for that I am so glad to be your friend on here - animals don't always have a voice.

I am so heartbroken by what cats and dogs are going through in the Asian countries. The Soi Dog group is doing some fantastic rescue work in Asia now - Google them and you can read about it. They've saved many dogs from being slaughtered - I can not handle what goes on over there - it is so cruel, so mean and so horrible. They are man's best friend. I can't stand them being abused like they are - they're not only being abused they're being tortured before being slaughtered - I can't believe the cruelty - sorry for the big downer - I just wish the Chinese and Koreans and other Asian nations would smarten up big-time regarding this issue and just knock it off.

Really.

I know elkotronics but we can only do so much--I wish I could save the world but since I can't I try hard not to think about those things I have no control over.

I hope you and your sis have a great time. Don't knock yourself out getting ready...she's coming to see you, not shiny furniture.

Thanks Gentlearts--I know that and I did a little cleaning and mowed the old dogs yard. The rest of my yard was mowed yesterday. Trouble is all the grass being brought in by myself and the dogs. Oh my! It is the country! I just hope her son who is 9 years old doesn't get bored. It's so hot it's hard to plan much. My neighbors do have a pool and we are going to let him swim there. They also have a 9 year old boy so that will be some company for my nephew I hope! It's only a couple of days so I'm sure we'll be fine. Please everyone have a blessed day!
