Thank you cyn. We are not going to do the heroics of putting her thru chemo or radiation or even surgery. She hates vets and it would be like torturing her. At the present time.....she is losing weight, but no other signs of distress; My DH and I feel we should just keep her close and love her up and not focus on the CA diagnosis.......she is a good girl and we love her and are standing by her.

So sorry to hear of McKenzie's diagnosis. It's never easy on us when our fur-babies are ill. I think it's sometimes even worse than with humans, because our dogs can't TALK and tell us exactly how they feel or if/where they hurt.

FWIW, I agree with your decision as far as treatment. It is the path I personally would choose if I were in your situation.

We are ok here cyn. Taking it day by day. McKenzie seems to be enjoying the special attention. Allie also seems a little better.....input and output is fine....she just has trouble walking and standing. She is on a pill for nerve pain. She is such a sweet beagle girl; very loving and trusting.

I had an email from my son in Maine.....the storm seems to have finished and they didnt loose power...still bitter cold...but we are all relieved.

Hello, everyone - I have some time off now from work. Mrs. elkotronics is on the phone with the vet down the hill from us here on Lake Chelan. She's inquiring in to getting Cotey the Pomeranian's teeth cleaned and any extractions necessary done. He has bad breath and we're hoping there's no abscesses or anything. So we'll see if she can see him today. I'm getting rested up - I only worked two nights this week and I'm exhausted from it!

elston - sorry to hear of your pet's cancer dx. I know you'll take good care of all of yours - sending blessings your way. Same with you, cyn - I hope you're starting to feel better, too, from surgery!

Have a full schedule the next few days. My internet provider will be here sometime this morning to give me a free upgrade.....then tonight we are having my neighbors father over for another dinner. He deserves that and so much more for all he does for us! My work called and asked us to join them in a New Years dinner compliments of them on Sunday. Monday is my dreaded doctor appointment...mostly I dread going in where sick people go especially this time of year but I will be fine! I will be so happy to get this behind me and get back to my life!!
Hope everyone has a blessed day.

Well the guy came and did the upgrade (???) but when he did that he somehow turned off my answering system through the telephone company......so I called and the can't get it back on until Monday---seems like it's always something.
