For a dollar more an hour I would have so much more responsibility and paper work which I have not been trained doing so that would be difficult for me to even learn because my mind sure isn't what it use to be, plus I would have to unload the trucks which I just am unable to do with my arm. In fact they could not hire me for that position because of that. I like being a simple associate but sure would like to see a little more stability! I never took this job as anything more then to get out and be around people. A retirement job. The district manager and I talked and she thinks we can get things under control again---just have to get the right people in the right positions. Praying that works. We had 3 interviews yesterday. I have more hours this week and did discuss my scheduling with the district manager. Hopefully she will help us get things in order once again!
Thank you for thinking of me gentlearts and elston!
Hope everyone has a blessed day!

This afternoon I have an appointment to have a pre-op procedure done at the surgeons office. It is called "Coolief" and it involves deadening four nerve centers around the knee.....it is supposed to cut post operative pain by up to 80%. But it is obviously a deep and painful procedure in and of itself. I have to take three doses of strong pain medication in advance....starting at 11:30 this morning. I won't be able to drive myself. The pharmacist said it is a controlled drug. I also have to take a strong antibiotic med, before and after the procedure. I am a little scared....but there is no turning back....and my guy will drive me and be with me this afternoon if I need him.

Good luck, elston. I hope all goes well today and that the pain is (hopefully) less than you are anticipating!

Want to let you know that everything went well.....no complications.....and altho it looked like a TV medical show with 6 medical technologists and lots of equipment.....the procedure wasnt all that bad and was successfully completed and I was not the worse for wear. Thank you for your concern.
