I would really appreciate any advice anyone can give me regarding finding employment as a paralegal in Orlando/Tampa Florida. I am an English lawyer with 17 years experience but I appreciate that is not going to be relevant to a US law firm. I have been told Florida is saturated with paralegals and I would be better to look for a position as a clerk. Although i think i would really enjoy the work of a clerk, i am not sure i could survive on the low salary. any advice would be much appreciated

Good Morning I have to be in court within the next hour for a speeding ticket. The reason was a life or death situation. I was given 2 tickets one for speeding another for reckless driving. My mother was suffering a stoke and could not answer the door. I had to get there to let in the medical asst. THe officer escorted me to the house seen what was taking place. Then gve me the tickets. I went to court pleaded non-contest. I have to return today can you just give something intellagent to say on my behalf.

Hello all,
Have paralegal cert. But I'm kinda in the same boat as Heather.
Have not had the opportunity to use the cert. Although I know AZ has some of the highest paid Paralegals.
Oh well maybe one day but then I will have to go to school for refresher!!
UGH!!
I wanted to do real estate too..
