Is that translation accurate?

To which the reply will be, "Who? Can we see the bill of sale or receipt?".

If the government wanted to know if you own or have ever owned a gun I'm sure they can find out pretty easily.

Well, not everybody here lives in New York. We don't need to have boating accidents in Wyoming.

Ya I hear stupid people who think they are funny by recycling the tired used crap about them being lost in a boating accident also. Most gun people are not known for their edgy comedy. Its more of a dogmatic cold dead hands kind of thinking. Heck most of them still think that Ted Kennedy's car has killed more people then my guns is very funny or guns don't kill people people kill people has some relevance in the argument. There are a thousand tired and used stupid slogans, like Hitler loved gun control, or if babys were armed there would be no abortion, guns don't kill people abortions do, where guns are outlawed only outlaws will have guns. All tired stupid and over used, and if you do use these your so late to the party that the house has been not only cleaned up but remodeled also. Not to mention they were not funny the first 80000 times they were used.

Airborne must spend alot of time one one of many gun forums. There is one that has alot of wannabe commandos who are probably 15 living in moms basement or loser middle age guys who think the end is near. The site is called AR--.--- I have not been on it in years but they constantly talk about tragic boating accidents and mall ninjas.

Have used that bit of humor myself several times over the past couple of years, but yes, the meme is worn out.
I don't care if someone else continues to use it.

It's been awhile since I've spent time on that site, but it's definitely prevalent there. I mostly check out two particular forums, one NY-specific, the other having mostly southern and western members.
