Mid 70s Before They Built Independence Junior High- We lived in an "L" shaped ranch style house at 1416 Independence Blvd in Thoroughgood. This was across from Lake Smith Terrace. I loved that house and was wondering if anyone remembers who the builder/contractor was that built there. He lived on Independence Blvd on the opposite side of the road heading towards Haygood/ Witchduck. He was less than a mile from where our house was located. We lived next door to the Stanley's (he was a bank president I think). For some reason, I keep thinking his last name (builder) was Hall. It was a custom home and I would love to build one just like it. Any idea where I could get the plans for that house? Thanks.

We lived in Lakeview Shores right down the street. Sorry but my memory doesn't go back that far.
You can usually look up past owners in the tax database. Maybe you can find it that way .

Harry Hall lived in Lake Smith Terrace on Independence. Seemed like a very nice guy, graduated from Bayside High School in 1974. I don't know if his father was a builder however...
