Yep, thats who I thought you were. Lol. I didnt know about your homepage either, just pretty much put two and two together.

No, I didnt attend any event, but I do post somewhat frequently, mostly on highly political or fiscal items.

It's not hard to pin me... housing bubble evangelist! It used to be that I'd post my "diatribe" and I was the only one. Now when I get to a real estate article, others have beat me to the talking points.

Several of those. Then one has to wonder about the statistics.
Wait a minute....do you really want to go there....

So someone that has a friend that knows a person who's baby mama's daddy brothers best friend stated something about a company he works for had lay offs but has no proof or link to show his finding but it must be true because it is on the internet .........Yeah OK....you stick with that theory if you think it helps your debate

If I recall there were several people on there that posted that their direct employer had let go over 100 people and it wasn't showing up in the list. Meanwhile smaller employers had or some such. Sounds like legit evidence to me!

I didn't read into the article too heavily. I know that companies over-reacted in laying off on a national scale, and I know that the gov't is the big employer around here, actually someone on another forum posted a link to a doc and it clearly showed that the high salaries are indeed gov't employment with all else trailing. They don't have to be responsible with cash so they got plenty to spend and stuff.

Heck, I'm sitting in an office with 1/4th or 1/5th of the coworkers I had a year ago so I guess I have a direct example. I didn't really think about it that way.

I know we're not on the verge of a real recovery. Too much debt, man.

And what does any of that have to do with Hampton Roads being in the top 20 of 100 major cities as far as the economy goes......Nothing......because if it is soooo bad here just think how bad it must be in other large cities..........I know it must suck for you when something positive is talked about regarding Hampton Roads....but this is one you will just have to live with for awhile I guess

The numbers don't lie. Hampton Roads has a strong GDP, lower than average unemployment, several companies in the fastest 500 growing, it's pretty good around here.. It's really nothing to say without making stuff up
