We are thinking of relocating to Carlisle area from upstate NY. We have a sizable house to sell first but are hoping to find a nice tidy 55+ community that is small pet friendly, and is reasonable cost (400-500 lot rent per month). We want to purchase a nice MH home, 1500 sq ft approximately. Where do you recommend we look that is well maintained community?

I've been browsing the forum for several months now, but never posted. The Carlisle post caught my eye as I'm a retiree now and am also looking to relocate................I've lived all my life in Philadelphia...........and have been considering central / south-central PA as well as Delaware. Anyway, I came across the "Creek View Community" that might suit the original poster's needs........right in the Carlisle area. Lots of info on the site as well as a aerial-tour video and listing of homes available.
