Do you really feel your children are threatened by man-made climate change, or that it is "ruining" the earth, or is it just a mantra? Throw-away lines to score political debate points?

Did climate change (Ice Age) that put woolly mammoths and saber-toothed tigers in what is now downtown Los Angeles, ruin the earth? Did the ensuing warming that melted a 1000' thick ice sheet that once covered over what is now NYC, ruin the earth? Perhaps "change", but ruin?

I am not the least bit concerned about man's impact on the climate/climate change. None. I live near the ocean, and never give it a moment's worry.

What does concern me, however, is the destruction of our prosperity and way of life if the climate change fanatics manage to get their way.

See you're off your meds again. I thought that at Trump University one of the first courses was about NOT gulping the Kool Aid? But you're right about Mazie Hirono, she's terrible. Worst approval rating in the senate, and I think someone said you could shoot Mazie in the Senate, with everyone watching, and there would be no witnesses..

I think that was it....

Aloha nuha pupule

What "meds" are you referring to?

I don't know much about Trump University, but I do believe that the Kool Aid gulpers are on the man-made-global-warming-is-a-crisis side of the issue.

I take it hat nuha as you have used it means "I am" Correct me if I am wrong.

BTW, I've done some research on Tesla's. Their Super Charging stations pump out 150,000 watts. At that rate, it takes about 70 mins to fully charge a near-depleted battery. That's the equivalent of about 150 solar panels each putting out 1,000W.

Hopefully, you'll do most of your driving at night. Good luck!

Climate change is a fact. We know the earth is retaining more heat because of the higher CO2 concentration we've created. It's not up for debate, it's a thing we can test in a lab

The earth's climate makes massive naturally-occurring swings. Any minor modulations created by mankind and his activities are swallow-up by the pre-existing natural changes many orders of magnitude greater. It's the historical record of crimate on planet earth. Nothing new, nothing created in a lab. Earth will adjust as it always has and always will.

It's going to be incredibly fun to watch electric vehicles demolish gassers as more and more EV models with gasser-crushing specs start entering the market over the next 3 years.

Faster? Check
More powerful? Check
More reliable? Check
Quieter? Check
Cleaner? Check
Lower cost of ownership? Check
More luxurious ride? Check

Admittedly, some people enjoy making their cars loud. Particularly those adults that never quite managed to grow up. Or the ones dying for attention because they've never been successful garnering any.

But agree, Mazie is entirely worthless.

I have tried to be nice to you, but it seems that deep inside, you're ... well, to quote your own post, a friggin loser.

Mod, get this bum off my back

I don't think our electric grid could handle a widespread conversion to electric vehicles, and the enviro - wackos will block any significant expansion thereof.

The Tesla super charger pumps 150,000 watts of power for 70 minutes. That's about $20.00 worth of juice. Do that day in, day out.

So she said something stupid. You know what's even stupider? Denying that humans can adversely affect the environment and therefore the earth's climate.

Your political leanings are obvious. It's also obvious you consume and regurgitate right-wing talking points such as "the destruction of our prosperity and way of life if the climate change fanatics manage to get their way"

Like, are you kidding me? LMAO

Yes the earth goes through cycles. Yes there are Ice Ages. I suggest you look at the causes of those cycles, and the causes of earth's five mass extinction events. You will see correlations between the environmental changes that brought on those events and the environmental changes that we are contributing to.

Of course I don't expect you to, nevermind the fact that all the world's leading scientists agree on anthropogenic climate change.

Maybe I could point you to a journal article with the most scientist signatories and nobel laureate endorsements ever written:

https://academic.oup.com/bioscience/...2/1026/4605229

But you probably wouldn't read it. We all know you're smarter than them right?
