Also, who on earth brushes their teeth before breakfast? That would make my daily half a grapefruit taste awful!

What seems bizarre to me is the number of people who shower before breakfast. One does not do ANYTHING before breakfast. All hygiene, dressing, and whatnot is intended to occur after breakfast.

I shower right away upon getting up at 05:20ish and eat breakfast right away after that. I've been following almost this exact routine since I was 13 years old.

When I used to work full time I showered first thing after getting some orange juice. It helped me wake up.

My mother didn't want to see you at the table if you didn't have your face washed and hair combed.
So...

I'm self employed, and my work involves visiting clients at their homes for an hour or two at a time. So, I try to be as clean and presentable as possible. However, my working days often don't begin until late afternoon, so I have the option of lounging around in my own filth all day if I feel like it. Generally, my habit is to shower immediately before leaving the house, regardless of time of day. If I have no work at all, I'll usually shower around mid-day, after breakfast and exercise.

Ugh. Reminds me of when I drank OJ after brushing my teeth. YUCK.

On work days I shower as soon as I wake up, on my off days I cook breakfast, drink coffee, do dishes and play on my phone first.

1. I always pee and poo immediately upon arising. So even if I did eat breakfast, I'd have to do that.

2. I do not usually eat breakfast. Coffee only.
