I usually roll of of bed, walk out my patio door and jump into the pool. I swim laps every morning and night... rain or shine. Afterwards I have my coffee and then I shower. It's become a ritual.
Heck no! gotta have my coffee or I can't function.
My routine: Wake up, head to the kitchen and hit the ON button for the coffee machine, tinkle, sip coffee for an hour at my PC, and then I take my shower/brush teeth.
Breakfast consists of a bowl of cereal or a banana slathered with peanut butter about 2-3 hours after I'm up.
Weekdays: Roll out of bed, pee, poo, brush teeth, shower, feed cats, dog outside, make lunch, coffee, TV news, check email, surf while 2 cups of coffee are consumed. Go to work.
Weekends: Roll out of bed, pee, poo, brush teeth, feed cats, dog outside, coffee, TV news, check email, surf interwebz, figure out what I'm doing for the day, and depending on what the plans are, may or may not shower. If I'm not going anywhere, there may not be a need to shower. Some days, there is not even a need to get dressed.
I just peeked into this thread because it looked different and interesting. Never knew people had so many different habits. However, we had a girl in our college dorm who I swear took 4 showers a day. She was always showering. One at night for sure, one in the morning, one after lunch, and heavens knows how many other times. I sometimes wonder if she's still at it.
My ex girlfriend was like that. She showered at least three times a day, but she worked in the printing industry and was always getting ink and other nasty stuff on her. At least that's what I kept telling myself. She showered so often she had absolutely no smell at all; you know the slight scent your loved one has that makes you recognize them? Nothing.
Eventually my instincts and my sniffer kept telling me she was seeing another woman behind my back. Soon after, I discovered I was right. The moral of the story is: beware of the partner who takes too many showers.
How do people eat breakfast before brushing their teeth?
Doesn't food taste different with morning breath?
Not at all, but it certainly tastes different after you've brushed your teeth! Have you ever drunk orange juice after brushing your teeth? Ugh!
