What, if anything, have you done or taken to try to control this? I'd suggest some Pepto Bismol. Give it a try for a couple of days and see what happens.
It could be caused by many things. Covid comes to mind, but there are many other things too. I wouldn't necessarily think about colon cancer as the cause although I suppose that's possible.
BTW, I'm not a doctor and didn't stay at a Holiday Inn Express last night, so take the advice for what it's worth.
Agree, I don't think cancer either. Amazes me how many people go to cancer #1 but drag their feet getting checked out Cancer grows every day so the longer someone waits, the worst it could get.

I'm in my early 40's, never had a colonoscopy yet. There's no history of cancer in my family so I don't think it's that but ya never know....
I'm just nervous going to the doctor getting it checked out.
Nothing to be nervous about. People get the runs for various reasons. You can do a tele-med, doctor will order you test your poop. They'll either give you a kit or you'll have to get it from labcorp. Results come back in a few days hopefully.
Take some immodium unless you feel your body needs a good clean out.
See a doctor, probably get a colonoscopy. Many moons ago, I had diarrhea for a month. It ended up being colitis. Medication got it under control, and I was able to halve the dosage after six months (maintenance dose). Episodes now are extremely rare.
Diarrhea almost every day, sometimes multiple times a day for months before I finally went to the doctor.
After several rounds of testing, including collecting stool samples for several days and dropping them off at the DR, I was referred to a Gastro doc.
Another round of stool collections and a MRI I was diagnosed with EPI. Exocrine Pancreatic Insufficiency
Exocrine pancreatic insufficiency (EPI) is a condition characterized by deficiency of the exocrine pancreatic enzymes, resulting in the inability to digest food properly, or maldigestion.
I take CREON with every meal or snack.
It works most of the time...fatty foods can still be a problem.
I've learned to not leave the house until about an hour after I eat.
Your body changes as it ages. Might be time to adjust your eating habits.
