Overweight or not, your heart and liver would be failing.

Not a fact.

I smoke about that much a day, and I am no where nearly as unhealthy as someone with morbid obesity.

That's the problem with statistical facts, they aren't always true.

2 packs a day huh? Keep telling yourself that, if you develop Lung Cancer, throat cancer, Cervical cancer, a stroke or heart attack. If these won't happen, you will be very lucky with the COPD you will have.

I rather be obese than in a wheelchair lugging an Oxygen tank with me any old day...

That could change overnight if you get lung cancer....plus lung cancer is almost an instant death sentence, its usually too far spread by the time its detected.

Effect of smokeless tobacco (snus) on smoking and public health in Sweden -- Foulds et al. 12 (4): 349 -- Tobacco Control

"In contrast, there is consistent evidence from two case–control studies in Sweden showing no increased risk of cancer of the head, neck, or mouth among snus users."

I quit smoking after 23 years with Swedish Snus. I'd quit smoking for a year once before, but the first day after I tried a snus was the first day in 23 years that I did not crave a cigarette. I am far from unique:

Post your experiance here if snus helped you to quit smoking
