Of all of my medicines. I had to present in the ER the day before yesterday because I had a pretty bad seizure and hurt my neck. The dr there hooked me up with a months worth of my medications since I have no insurance. All but two of the meds I take.

I was so very grateful and I hope that it helps me along. I wish there were more people in the world like him.

I guess good things do happen sometimes... when we least expect it!

I am glad to hear that. I lost my Ins. I downloaded a free discount rx card plus I had my Dr. do all generic that we could, plus one of them was on the Walmart 4.00 list. So it all helps and samples are great. I had to change one but it's OK.

See what a cash visit at your Dr. is and get samples too.
So good to see you

Terry

Glad to hear that you were taken care of. My wife and I work very hard to make sure I have insurance, otherwise we would have to choose my meds or mortgage. My Copaxone (MS treatment) without insurance would cost me 2200.00

Pikantari,

Some pharmaceutical companies have a program where they give you your much needed medication at a discount, or for for free if you are having financial problems.

Good luck with getting insurance soon, I feel badly for you.

As of today I am in the same boat you are insurance wise as my Cobra has run out. Thankfully my psychiatrist loaded me up on samples yesterday and tripled my prescriptions so I could have them filled last night. I am now set for about three months which helps so much as without insurance my meds will cost me about $ 600 a month. Thank God for good and kind doctors. I almost thought they were a dying breed.

good luck. It can take a very long time to get the acceptance. Most people with MS, since the majority of the reason for early retirement is due to Fatigue, for some reason the government does not seem to think these people deserve it and usually get rejected the first attempt.

Let us know how it goes

**Most** doctors have access to samples. SOO many people have a fit about Drug Reps giving free samples and pens to doctors. They hate seeing drug reps at their doctors offices. They think pharmacutical companies are crooks. I wish they would all read this thread and see how many people really NEED these samples!!!

If you tell your regular doctor about your financial situation I'm sure they would help you out with samples, generic Rx's, or pharmacutical discount programs. Walmart and Walgreens have programs, too. I'd look into these options before you run out of your meds!
