I lived in Texas for a few years. I don't think it is the fact they eat a lot of meat or anything. But honestly...not many people like to do stuff outside that is fitness related. I mountain biked and flat water kayaked when I lived there. And I was the minority. I told non fitness people I mountain biked and they are like..where?
