In your opinion what were the greatest weapons of all time? Of course these weapons should be compared to other weapons in their time. I believe that some of the best weapons were the, katana, M1 Garand rifle, Tiger tank, and the British Longbow.

Can't agree about the Tiger because of various implementation/reliability flaws. By the time they built the Tiger it was really inexcusable not to take advantage of the concept of armor sloping, especially since the USSR had shown how much it mattered.
Now, if you insert the T-34 tank in place of the Tiger, I'd have to agree even though it's obvious that in a straight fight between the two, the T-34 is seriously outgunned.
Well, the supremacy of the Tiger is really debatable, depending on if you're speaking tactically or strategically.
If I was in a tank duel, yeah I'd choose the Tiger over the T34. But if I were the commander of a tank division needing to breakthrough and exploit the enemy's rear areas, I would take the T34 or even the Sherman hands down.

Not if it was fired from horseback, because you can't use an English longbow from a horse. On the other hand, the recurve bow was a superior weapon because it could be used whilst mounted. Quite a big advantage indeed.
