It is quite possible that the crucifixion of Jesus, which is widely held to have actually occurred, might be the event you are looking for, which had considerable impact through the subsequent reporting of the event. It inspired the brutal and mercenary people of Europe to conquer and plunder all the rest of the planet, which indeed was of considerable historical importance.
However, it might well have occurred even without the crucifixion as such, which still places the significance of the events of that day in doubt. His disciples were already in place, prepared to use any anecdote as compelling material for their persuasion.
Rising from the dead would be a trans human incident.
Human history would include all those things which conform to the natural laws which govern us all. Resurection isn't one of those.
The actual greatest event in all history was life moving from the sea to dry land...all that we are was made possible by that relocation. I doubt that a 100% aquatic Earth would be especially interesting. Maybe intelligent life could have evolved in a maritime environment, but of course it would not have much in common with our terra form life as we know it.
History, as I understand it, limits the scope to events during times in which men could preserve the accounts for posterity. That would exclude things we only surmise from geological or even archaeological markers.
The invention of the wheel, as much as I appreciate lauding the lazy rather than the industrious, was not a singular event. The wheel was, no doubt, invented hundreds of times, in diverse places, rather than being introduced in new places by people already familiar with the technology.
The invention of agriculture. Not sure it is an "event" but you would be hard pressed to think of something that changed human history more dramatically.
