herpetology (hands on), gardening (hands on), feline rescue and foster (hands on) and wildlife rehab (hands on) and reading about science, medicine and psychology with the odd history subjects thrown in. I'm really into reading about famous or personal journals of early explorations of extreme environments. I also like to cave tube, zipline and explore places. My favorite thing in the world is to hire out a pilot to take me up in a tiny plane- my favorite was 'hitching' a ride with a pilot bringing mail to a native village well above the arctic circle. I sat next to bags of mail and cases of beer. If we went down that would've been the end of us but I felt that even my family would know at that point that would've been for me a happy way to go.
