Glad we didn't lose Marleau within the division.

I was out of town on a business trip and didn't hear that rumor until yesterday.

Absolutely...didn't want Marleau in our division. For that matter, I'm glad Michalek and Cheech are out East.

I'm actually glad Patrick is still around. Maybe he's not Captain material but I still like him.

i still have a soft spot for patty as well

i really like michalek and hate to see him go - also losing erhoff will have some impact to the D depth

losing luko wasn't a big deal to me and shedding cheech's contract is a plus - as much as I like the guy he just wasn't performing

to top 6 is going to be scary on this team next year - the bottom 6 could get interesting

either way I can't wait for the season to start

Right now, this is the way Sharks coach Todd McLellan is envisioning his top 2 lines.

Heatley-Thornton-Setoguchi

Clowe-Marleau-Pavelski

There's not a better combination in hockey. The Shark's problems will reside in putting together representative 3rd and 4th lines that can provide some quality ice time.

Oh, and Dan Boyle should be made captain.

The Merc is saying that the fourth line looks like it will be Shelley-Nicholl-Staubitz. Third line still pretty much up in the air.

If that is the fourth line, expect a lot less scoring and a lot more hitting and punching.

Wow the sharks look really promising this year.. Heatley only adds to that already deadly starting line, curious to see how they do this year.
