Ahhh, I see now, thanks Pitt Chick! Of course now that I see them I wonder how I could have missed them.

Every time I look at that photo I think, "I want my spices to look like that ..."

Also, one thing to note is that I don't really associate "minimalist" with the amount of things someone has on their counter, but the overall design of the kitchen in terms of layout, hardware, cabinets, counters, etc. Certainly a minimalist kitchen usually tends to not want a lot of things out, but keeping a clutter-free kitchen is different than a kitchen designed to be modern or contemporary minimalist. You can have a traditional cape code kitchen owned by someone who likes to keep their kitchen counters clutter-free but it wouldn't make it minimalist.

I'm not for clutter so my kitchen always been pretty bare, I found it easier to clean and for others to keep clean as well...Plus I think of the kitchen as a place food is prepared food, sanitation etc ,same with bathroom no clutter on counters...
I keep all my appliance in these two large pull out draws, very easy I can just set em on the counters plug in when done back in draws ...

Same with my pots& pans, have two large pull outs to house,,,

The Island as well has to large pull out to house cookware and large bowls .draws on top house knifes etc...
