This is easy. New cabinets, new soapstone counters with sink, and new appliances. If the budget allows, open up the wall between the kitchen and living room for a breakfast bar.

Even though my kitchen is very new and pretty to look at, I would still have the things that I hate about it changed. I am tall and the counters are too low. My oven is way down low, too. In order to raise everything, the ceiling would most likely need to be raised too. I think these changes would easily use up $25k.
