I prefer a high thread count 600 and up. Avoid the sateen sheets. I find over time they start to pill.

The Made in USA sheet set my Mom gave me about 30 years ago. Fieldcrest, I think.

I hate new foreign-made sheets, and the thread counts on current sheets are highly misleading.

Peachskin sheets are pretty amazing, and the pillow cases have envelope ends as well so the pillows don't slip out.
