I thought I had been doing a good job of keeping my apartment's restroom cleaned, but it's dimly lit in there and I didn't notice how messy it was til yesterday. I usually clean the shower once every two to three weeks, toilet at least once a week, and sink probably once a week. I gave it all a thorough cleaning yesterday.

How often do you thoroughly clean the restroom?

My wife and I clean the house every Sunday. For the bathrooms we scrub everything each Sunday except the tub. This we scrub every other Sunday. We haven't had any cleanliness issues.

Every 2 weeks when my cleaning crew comes. I do wipe down the sink and straighten the counter daily in case someone comes over.

I clean the combo tub/shower every time I use it. Have to with my hard water. Sink is wiped clean after use.

The rest of the bathroom is scrubbed once a week........including the floors and walls.

Couple times a week. If I let things build up, it means longer on my knees cleaning, which hurts my knees. I've tried the long pole sponges -- they hurt my back.... I swish the toilet every two-three days.

I deep clean once a week since it's just hubby and I but I daily wipe down sink, counter tops and toilet daily with Clorox disinfecting wipes... When all three kids lived at home I deep clean three times a week...

"How often do you thoroughly clean the bathrooms?"

How about EVERYTIME I clean it? What's the use of cleaning if it isn't "thoroughly"? It still means its DIRTY somewhere!

I don't.

My cleaning lady does it. She used to come every other week but we recently changed the schedule. Since I have such a big house, she will come every week and do one floor one week and the other floor the next-which means the downstairs bathroom & the two upstairs bathrooms get cleaned on different weeks.
