26. In retrospect I think I waited too long and wish I would have gotten a push... but all is well. Finally bought a house just recently after renting most of this time.

I moved into a bedroom in my Aunt's basement when I was 17. At 18, I moved into my own apartment in another town 30 miles away.

17. A week after I graduated high school. My parents (with younger brother and sister in tow) had to move away anyway due to a change in my father's job so I stayed where we were (not in that house though .. I got an apartment) and they moved. It was my decision, not that of my parents, but they agreed.

16 1/2 when I left for college.

Then back for about 6 months immediately after graduation.

Then never again.

18.

I met my wife in her sophomore year of college and when she moved back home to finish college I came with her. I never went back and go home once or twice per year to visit.
