I am looking for a facility with an indoor basketball court and came across Lifetime Fitness. Is anyone a current member of Lifetime Fitness in Sugar Land? If so, please give a review. I read some older reviews from 2008 but a lot can change in that amount of time. I also read that membership is high. What exactly is "high"?

Thank you

I have a lot of friends that go there, and they love it. I have been there twice (I got free day passes) and it was great- clean, enormous, every machine possible. It was too expensive for us- if you need something more budget-friendly check out the YMCA in Missouri City. They also have open basketball courts.

I am a member there and it is very nice. But yeah, it's also really expensive.

As far as basketball, I don't play, but there are almost always people playing there, even at 5:00 in the morning sometimes.

We put our membership on hold when the recession affected our incomes but if we were going to belong to a fitness center at all, it would be this one. It is spacious, super nice, clean, with a ton to do.

The only thing I don't recommend at Lifetime would be the swimming lessons for children. Houston Swim Club does a much better job for that.

agree on the Houston Swim Club for kids...
i found Lifetime fitness to be too crowded since its almost like "the happening" gym in S'Land. I am content with what NT has to offer.
