I live in Richmond and have a Hague water softener.

Here is the company I used.

Same one we used. Got the Watermax and it has been great.
Good customer service too.

We are building in katy now and ended up going with the builder's company selling Dupure. They had special pricing plus they through in the RO unit under the kitchen sink. And it seemed to be at the same level as the Hague Watermax.

Hi:

Sorry to reply to a 3-year old thread, but we are currently building a house in Houston (Firethorne Subdivision) and the builder has offered to pre-plumb for water softener for a fee of $960.

They charge $3250 for the SmartChoice Gen II Aqua Systems (did not specify how many cu ft).

Which water softener did you finally pick and if you can share the installation cost, that would be great.
