Houston, Texas in general needs to get with the program.

Look at the parking lots in LA. All Texas plates.

Astrodome = Houston casino. Multi levels? Um, yes. Wouldn't be the largest but it would be something. Better than Texans spending money on stupid lotto tickets. At least with a casino that big would be bringing in some jobs.

While I love the idea and those renderings look awesome. However, I'm not really big on turning the astrodome into an aquarium. Something like this would be much more appropriate for Galveston or downtown.

I still say the movie studio was the best idea and would be the most beneficial. That's opening up an entire new economic sector for Houston that has yet to really be explored by the city. Due to diverse locations within the city, affordability and business climate. Houston could become a prime location for movie production.
I agree with this post 100%

It could be used as an indoor amusement park or mall. Wait! How about we use it for some sort of sporting venue like it was designed for?

Most of the people who go to Louisiana casinos are from Texas. Majority Houston. They could be keeping that money instate.

production studio is a good idea but in my opinion does nothing for local residents... we simply need more ready made things to do in the heart of the city.

A movie studio provides entertainment.

I push more for the studio because I'm majoring in film; so I'm biased.
