Absolutely YES! I mean why the hell not? I don't use that park--waste of my tax dollars! Heck, I think a tollway through every park in the city would be a good idea! How about a highway right through Texas Children's? It'd be very convenient.

Tollways always make good improvements to green spaces.

Is access to the med center that problematic? Granted, the same mentality that thinks this is necessary is probably what makes the Hardy extension seem absolutely necessary. I disagree with both. At best all 288 might need is a dedicated exit ramp on mcgregor (ala woodlands pkwy exit up north).

I hate to see a tollway go through Hermann Park. However, both 288 (especially 288) (once again 288) and the Med Center needs traffic relief.

the traffic in that area is not that bad that it requires you to screw up a hundred year park, I use to go thu the med all the time compared to the rest of the city traffic it was not nearly as bad, I agree with what someone said on the abc news website this sounds more like a way for them to optimaze profit for a toll road

Traffic isn't bad going to and from the TMC. Inside it the traffic is crap. The tollway isn't needed and luckilu there is much opposition.

Traffic problems? Find an alternate form of transportation. Don't build more roads, highways or lanes to existing highways... just a total waste of resources and money.

Gotta ruin nice areas of the city just so the commuters can gain access! Sarcasm aside, really, really bad idea. I love how the public comment period ran before the story appeared in the Comical!
