45 Needs help for sure, but both north/south bound.
The worst part about this, it's going to be another money pit.

Having to pay to use roads is crap

It intresting it bold it forward thinking , so never going to happen..lmao... I like that the designs incorprates a rail system , so even if the rail does not happen it would be easier to convert them into lanes as oppose to coverting lanes into rails with would cost more , if the city decided to do that, this being Houston they of course would go with the lanes only to later decided to convert them into rail..

The problem is not great idea there is a over flow of those the problem is the people who decided these things don't really give a damn about Houston for the simple reason most of them do not even live in Houston proper, but look at all the ground breaking projects going on in their areas

Ike was just a freak storm. Let's not act like NYC and other tunnels/subways get flooded. That was the first time the Washburn Tunnel ever flooded.

Like I said I support this plan and if it can get put on the ballot (as I think all major projects should ) I think it would pass , the problems becomes we have given the city leaders the power to approve and dis-approve such project without ever bringing them before the people
