I love the word of God and what he says about sins such as homosexuality. We have a choice to accept truth or reject it... But nevertheless, all of this Chick Fil A talk is making me hungry for a Chicken sandwich.

Christianity also teaches tolerance. However, most Christians elect not to practice it.

Are you referring to the part that says "Love your enemy"?

Yes you are correct. We teach tolerance. Even narrow-minded people who give God the finger on what he says is sin and not sin. If homosexuals want to have intercourse with one another, that's their business. If drunkards want to get hammered 24/7, more power to them. I don't have a problem with sinners because I have my own problems.

What I do however have a problem with is people thinking sin is acceptable. Show me a person who accepts sin as acceptable while criticizing God's view, and I'll show you a person whose utlimate destination will be a place that he/she will be regretting for eternity.

Good point. It's not always easy and many people struggle. What we should be doing is loving the sinner, hating the sin. So scripture therefore tells us to love the homosexual and hate the act. Therefore what I propose is that we love the homosexual by showing them what they are doing is wrong and has awful consequences and rehabiliate them be teaching them about how Jesus died for them and they too can have everlasting life by believing in him. Now that's love. Who's with me??
