Sorry I don't agree with your stance. Schaub is a ten year veteran who still makes rookie mistakes. It doesn't matter if you play hard with great heart, this is a business. If playing with great heart lets you deserve to be on the field, Rudy rudiger(spelling?) would have been on the field. He's not a starting qb that will take us anywhere. He doesn't have a great arm, the majority of the regular population can run faster than him, and he still makes horrendous mistakes after 7 years of be a veteran starter. You think anything is going to magically change? No. Time to see what our other options can do.

Or Steve Young and Joe Montana. Drew Bledsoe.and Tony Romo. Matt Flynn for Russell Wilson. There are plenty of examples of a change being made for the better of the team. Schaub is out there making rookie mistakes game after game so I don't see how putting in Keenum or Yates (though Yates is like Schaub 2.0) in there would be any worse.

So, you're saying that it generally works out?

I don't see how it can get any worse than now, so why not give Yates or Keenum a chance.

You don't see worse than 2 and 2?

If we end up sitting at 2 and 4 in a couple of weeks, sure, I'd be for benching Schaub, but not at this point.

I think Kubiak needs to keep Schuab on a shorter leash and be willing to bench him mid-game, if necessary, if he makes these same kind of mistakes.

Did any of you notice that Ben Tate was never back in the game after his fumble ?

I.
I really hate ESPN for this perception.

That said. Houston has a great defense. Super Bowl worthy. They have a great run game. Maybe Houston needs to use that as an identity more.

The downfall of the Texans from jumpstreet has been our quarterbacks.

We're just weird. The Texans know when the QB has run his course yet we just keep them and keep them longer than necessary. Cut 'em and move on.

I'm sorry but from the beginning we've always had a sad sack QB as the starting. It's really sad.

I didn't watch the game, I just watched the highlights
Matt Schaub messed up.... but why doesn't anybody mention Jackson body slamming the Seahawks player when they were gonna be 3rd and 7 in their 45 with about 4 minutes left to go.
Because of Jackson, they got first down and right after that they beat us
