Read somewhere a couple on months ago that the Kingdom and the USA decided that one way to take the steam out of Putin was to reduce his income by dropping the price of oil. This could go on for years.

This actually sound more and more logical. Ruble collapsed last night.

No sanctions can do more hurt than $40 oil to mother russia.

I agree with some of you, the sudden price drop may be targeted on Russia, and Houston is just a accidental casualty.
