Welcome, as long as it leaves its voting habits behind in California. LOL (standard response for Californians moving to Texas)

They have In & Out in San Marcos... seemed pretty typical from what I remember - maybe slightly different since each place has their own taste.

Jack Box is the only other burger place in the immediate vicinity. Oh... and Sonic across the freeway.

In-and-out was once the target of a Democrat boycott because they support conservative causes. I think they’ll fit in just fine in Texas.

Interestingly a lot of Califronians moving to Texas go to urban areas, and both urban Texans and Californians tend to vote democrat in federal elections.

In-N-Out Burger, a popular California burger chain, will open its first Houston-area restaurant on Friday.
The restaurant, 12611 S. Kirkwood Road in Stafford, will open at 10:30 a.m. on Nov. 22, according to a Facebook post from The Grid, a $500 million mixed-use development with 350,000 square feet of retail and restaurants on the former site of the Texas Instruments Campus in Fort Bend County.

The person who wrote that article did an inadequate job.

They aren't 'developing ' a location in Katy.....the Katy location was set to open at the same minute today as the Stafford location. There was a story about this on the Channel 26 news last night, and there was a story about it in the Community Impact Newspaper. I don't know what time the Stafford location ended up opening, but the Katy location opened almost 90 minutes early (I was there, as a customer). It's on the NE corner of where I-10 intersects with Katy-Fort Bend Road (1010 Katy-Fort Bend Rd). The usual reliable quality control was intact .

There were a number of us (California natives who have moved to Texas) waiting to patronize the Katy location when it opened this morning.

For some reason my wife was confused and swore up and down that they were building one in Willowbrook. Regardless, I’ve had In-N-Out several times in Cali and Las Vegas. Meh

Ironically In-and-Out prints bible verses at the bottom of its French fry packaging! Does Whataburger do that?? No!!
