I'm bummed to read this:
It’s Time for Swamplot To Say Goodbye | Swamplot

I got a lot of my real estate news from Swamplot--I like how they aggregated the news into one spot--it's been my one-stop-shop for years.

Where else do my CD friends get their Houston real estate news from? Recommendations? What's going to fill this void?

First Houston Press paring down, now this...man!

I was very surprised to hear that. My photos were featured there for many years. There was no warning and no "inside" talk. I wonder what happened...

I too was very upset. One of my daily morning reads. RIP Swamplot.

Still suspect April Fool's act here. That was really weird.

It's been awhile, but a few photos of mine of now-gone buildings have found their way there too.

Add me to the list. I read Swamplot daily, have contributed many a pic, and a few stories*. It's been my go-to real estate & development site for years. I also read the Daily Demolition Report every day. I'll never forget that weird feeling of seeing a house I once owned, but had sold, on that report.

If anyone has something that is a similar site, please share here.

* I lived for many years in the neighborhood that was behind the Ashby Hi-Rise protests. Over the years, I sent in many pics, and a few tidbits that got turned into stories. I now coincidentally, live down the street from a future Randall Davis POS monstrosity, and have been sending pics & tidbits on that.

I read swamplot many times as well for the past few years. Wish Texas cities had a presence on curbed. Would be the next best thing to do.

Austin is on Curbed, but very little interaction/comments. Wish we had a version similar to Atlanta.

I was a regular contributor to Swamplot. Hate to see it go. I've made a few contributions to curbed, but not the same.
