I'm in the process of moving and need a temporary house for my family of 4. I'm looking on CL and seeing rentals for about $1300 for a 3brd like this one https://houston.craigslist.org/apa/d...952642270.html Is this right? I just want to make sure I'm not dealing with CL scams.

$1300 for 3bd in Tomball can be right. Of course, CL can be scam but the price sounds ok.

For Houston real estate - use www.har.com.

That particular listing is pending.

I would not trust CL personally.

Default NW Houston is vast

It depends on where in NW Houston you’ll be renting. NW Houston rents usually go for $700-$1000 and up, especially for the wealthy areas.

No, just HAR - it pulls info straight from the MLS. Zillow, on the other hand, pulls info from HAR and lags in updating. HAR again updates from the MLS and is current. Zillow would be a waste of time, if you keep reaching out to rentals that have since been leased.
