Happy birthday to your baby Mom2feebs! A fun thing to do at the 1-year birthday - place the baby on the ground, with a bunch of stuff arranged in a circle around him/her. Whatever the baby picks up first represents the career that he/she will gravitate towards . Items we generally place around the baby include spatula (or some sort of safe cooking utensil), calculator, ruler, stethoscope, phone, laptop, etc... The interpretation part is always fun. My son picked up a big slotted spoon and a stethoscope, so we think he will be a cook in a hospital!

About Crapitto, I was a little leery going there the first time, because the name is sorta funky. The owner Frank Crapitto comes from one of Houston's oldest Italian families, and Crapitto is an old Italian last name. The food is authentic, very fresh (seafood, pastas, veal, pork, etc...), and the service is superb. The waitstaff is extremely accomodating. Excellent wine list also. Prices are also reasonable.

Anyone ever tried Ibiza or Benjy's restaurant? Don't think they are that upscale or romantic but they did get good reviews.

I like Benjy's - not really romantic but nice atmosphere and bar upstairs.

I love Ibiza. But more for a business dinners/lunchs than anything. I would say "trendy" not romantic.

Benjy's was way too cold for me. I couldn't really appreciate the food or atmosphere because my teeth were chattering so much!
