Why is the Landscape much better in a area where the homes have higher value then the homes who have lower value?

How come the Wards in Houston have poor Landscape compare to landscape in Sugar Land/Katy/The Woodlands?

SERiOUSLY????? How do you dream up these questions?

It would seem obvious that the answer to your question - especially as you cite Houston's Wards vs SL, Katy & TW - is economics and to a large degree, pride of ownership. You don't necessarily need $$$$$$$ to maintain a nice yard. We once had a neighbor who had nothing but gravel as his landscaping. He was out there every day sweeping & pulling weeds if one dared to grow. Butt ugly IMHO but damn if his yard wasn't pristine.

A combination of God, Darth Vader, Elmer Fudd, and the starting lineup of the 1976 Philadelphia Flyers.

If I was dreaming then I would not post it. The posts are reality.
I am talking about the roads and trees around the area.

Simple...income. People in low to moderate income areas are working hard to pay their mortages, utilities and caring for their families. Many times folks cant afford hundreds of dollars in water bills to keep the front yard looking perfect, or painting their homes every 3 years. It's simple economics and shouldn't be a science to anyone.

Low to moderate income areas also have a lower real estate value too.
I am not talking about private property. I am talking about roads and trees outside the homes. They are clean and well kept with division signs.

Areas with lower property values generate lower taxes. Lower taxes equals lower level of service from the City.

Oh ok so the money to keep the neighborhood great is coming from taxes.
