Is anyone familar with or live in the BellaVita community by Village Builders (Lennar) in Pearland. Do you know if people enjoy living there or is there more options you would consider. Our home budget will be $250,000 to $300,000 tops. I am hoping for a really quiet neighborhood with friendly people since we will be moving without knowing anyone. It would be nice to live within 30 minutes of the airport, but would maybe consider farther if necessary.

I read Friendswood is a nice communty too.

My husband just accepted a transfer at the William P. Hobby Airport. What is a realistic commute time, rush hour and non rush hour (as we do not know his schedule yet).

Any comments on general communities to consider would be appreciated too.

Thank you so much for taking the time to read this and replying to my post.

i think you will really enjoy all of the lennar "houston adult communities" as they used to be called. they are nice and quiet and have plenty for active 55+ adults or inactive ones as well.

Thank you for your reply. When I spoke to the salesman, the community sounded very nice.

My spouse has customers who live in that area and they LOVE Bella Vita. Their monthly HOA fees cover alot too -- they get a lot of bang for their buck. Gated, nice.

They are starting on Del Webb in Richmond near 59S and 762. Going to be about 1500 homes 55+ only.

Oh and you are definitely within 30 minutes of Hobby - even in rush hour (unless there is an accident or something unusual).

Thank you.

I am a bit worried about traffic because we really don't have much traffic in our medium/small town. People say you can easily find alternative routes.

Thanks for mentioning the Richmond Del Webb. I thought it looked like the commute might be too far, but I am not sure what a realistic driving time would be to the Hobby Airport.
