I'm not familiar with the area but the resources I have tell me, as others pointed out, that Grassy is the nearest school, so, it wouldn't make much sense for Briarwood not being zoned for that school. Then , using greatschools.org, Grassy is shown in Marshall County District.

I would still check with the school board, if the zoning is anything like it is here.
I sold a house last year that was about a 1/2 mile from Lynn Fanning, but it was zoned Riverton.
Also, some subdivisions here are actually split (no kidding!) between county and city, where only a portion of the subdivision was zoned into the city. Hermitage and Churchill Park are two that are split city/county, and Edgewater is split between Madison city and Huntsville city. Makes it quite confusing sometimes!

Where is Arab? That is one place I have not heard of. How far to the HSV airport area from there?

You haven't heard of it because it's 30 miles south of Huntsville.

It's about 45 miles from the airport.

I called and spoke with the school superintendent. He stated that it is not in the school district, but that Arab schools have an open enrollment policy and will accept students from outside the school district limits. Bus services are not provided, which would be a given, but my child(ren) would be able to go to Arab schools. How long will this open enrollment policy will last is anyone's guess. It is kind of a coin-toss if later on this policy will go away or if the school district gets rezoned to include the subdivision... Only time will tell.

Arab is a small town, very safe and excellent schools ranked #3 in the state. It isn't for everyone if you need to have a mall or entertainment you have to go to H'ville for that. A few good restaurants but most are closed on Sunday unless it is fast food. Lake Guntersville is 10 minutes away.
Housing is very reasonable either buying or renting.

You can get to S. Hville in 20-25 mins, not sure about the airport. Depending on the time of day I would guess 45 min to an hour.
Lots of ppl work on the arsenal who live in Arab.

Default Digging up this thread again

Evening C-D members. I am resurfacing this thread again, because I am in need of some help with some latest sales data again.

Could anyone provide some 4br home sales in the Arab area that have sold in the last 3-6 months, with square footage above 2000+

I have not been able to dig up much information that is current. I can only seem to locate info as of September of last year, which does me no good.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.
