10pCDT/11pEST: Landfall official (eye wall has been onshore a few hours but center point of storm is technically the landfall point). Winds 130mph, moving NW 7mph, pressure was measured at last moment by recon aircraft at 938mb, and prelim ground report in Rockport matching 938mb.

Nice multi-vortex center odd shaped eye as it interacts with land)

Port Aransas will likely get the worst of this. At least Rockport is in the eye. Port Aransas and Aransas Pass will get all eye wall.

*Based on radar presentation alone* I would venture to guess the following saw/seeing some of the strongest winds of the storm (no particular order): Holiday Beach, Lamar, Copano Village, Fulton, Rockport(building damage/roofs/walls lost confirmed), Aransas Pass, & Port Aransas.

Ya Rockport/Fulton in the eye so may get some pictures while people can walk around in calm before other side arrives.

Edit: Getting into Bayside now.

I beleive this is the newer Fairfield Inn Marriott in Rockport, TX, walls missing, similar scenes around town. They're still in the calm eye.

12aCDT/1aEST: Strongest winds look to be approaching Woodsboro & Refugio now, back side of eye approaching Rockport, winds should now start decreasing in Port Aransas finally.

My weather program says Corpus Christie is getting over 3 inches of rain per hour.

I have read reports from some yacht owners who went to the CC Marina. They said most boat owners took no precautions.

5aCDT/6aEST: Now a Cat1, winds 90mph, moving NW 6mph, pressure 967mb. With landfall these winds are going to be just in part of the eyewall, less elsewhere. Looks more like Northward movement on recent radar to me but storm expected to meander around now. Worst winds look to be near, but leaving, Refugio, near Goliad, western areas of/nearing Victoria & Bloomington. Strong band all the way out near Houston with good winds too and HEAVY rains just south of Houston near Katy, Sugar Land, Bellville.

Reports:
-Port Lavaca surge 6.6ft
-Auto official rain gauge near Victoria 16.43in rain.

6aCDT/7aEST: Winds 85mph, moving NW 6mph, pressure 972mb as steadily weakens. Reminder that wind damage is exponential with speed so 85 is different from what 100 or higher does.

Any current info on Victoria.
Weather Channel has someone there but the coverage is poor...can't even hear what he says half the time...
