I like it. I’m hoping the market is still crap by then so I can get one at deep discount
You just made my deep funk with the Covid-19 and the market plunge slightly better thinking car prices might also plunge and i might afford something new.

Alex on Autos has a long video on YouTube about the GV80. He couldn't drive it on a public road (legal reasons) but gave a good presentation of the features and the interior.
The V6 models have all-wheel drive; that is optional on the 4 cyl. model. Seating for 5, or more with the 3rd row if so equipped.
The steering wheel is ugly for me. The styling is OK but won't blow me away.
The top of the line model with $ 72 K is stepping on the Macan's toes, albeit much bigger with better warranty, but not as much fun to drive hard.

A VW would be worse. The VW starts at $67,000 versus $60,000 for the Hyundai 3.5 V6. But it's pretty much down hill from there. You'd be into the $90k range for comparably equipped. Values definitely there as you'd expect from Hyundai. Execution we'll see. I haven't driven the new crop of Hyundai products, but the older ones left something to be desired there. Supposedly the new ones have closed up that gap with the more established luxury brands. I expect it will be more Aviator than Cayenne. Aviator is doing well. Nice car, probably what I'd get in that price range, so Hyundai has some pretty stiff competition.
The new GV is certainly a nice vehicle. But how on Earth does the new Hyundai 3.5 engine only have 375hp? Lexus, Cadillac, Lincoln and Inifinti all have 400hp, from years ago.
