Eat at Cracker Barrel on the way. The closest one to us is in the Salt Lake area

I would not suggest routing yourself through the Hoback as there's tons of road work going on. Bring US 30 in instead.

We dont know what hoback is. Looks like we are going to head towards hwy 80 to 15. Yea looks like 30 is a shortcut. Thanks!! What kind of road is 30?
We are leaving here Sept 29. Bought a place off archer hwy. We have never been out there. When does it start getting cold? Looks like a nice place to live. We cant wait to get out there. We are gonna need snow weather supplies, snow boots, and woolies!! Any good consignment shops around? Thanks for any feed back!!

Just curious, you bought a place and have never been there? How do you go about doing that with any confidence?

Default OMG.....are you ever in for a shock of a lifetime

Rexburg is 97% Mormon.......either you are a member of the "church" or you won't last long. "They" don't do business with nonmembers up there. Good Luck

My hubby met a guy in Idaho Falls when we were there one time. He was actually from the town just north of us here in Ca. The first time he moved out that way he ended up in Rexburg and he didn't last more than a couple months he said. It was horrible and the Mormons were after him trying to convert him and wouldn't leave him alone. He said he moved back here but longed to go back. He ended up in IF and said it is so much better!

Anyways, M2R, good luck with your move. I hope that it is a wonderful experience for you!!
