CDA Property Manager Recommendations (Coeur d'Alene: renter, house, tenants)

Hi All,
I have a situation going on with my house in Coeur d'Alene. I hired a local property manager about 6 months ago and she in turn rented my house out to "1 gentleman" and his 2 dogs....Everything his been going along reasonably well. The rent has come in a little late each month, but nothing too bad. In all communication with her she has assured me what a great tenant he is how lucky "we" are to have found him. Ok, so, I'm going to try and keep this brief...I have found out from some of the neighbors that there are several people living there, parties, a 4' above ground swimming pool and a large hot tub placed on our already flimsy backyard deck - hooked up to electrical that the renter himself apparently did. There haven't been any permits obtained, which my property manager assured me there were. I am 1000 miles away (sigh...in California, I didn't want to say it.) Now the property manager wants to quit....I am worried about my liability with the renters and being so far away. Does anyone know of a good, reputable company in Coeur d'Alene that I can get in contact with? I appreciate any help........thank you!!!!

Do you have a contract with the current property manager? I wouldn't be too excited about letting her out of this deal and leaving you to clean up her mess.

I do have a one year contract with her which is up in January. We will be going to Coeur d'Alene within the next 2 weeks to meet with her and the tenants. I should know more then. Thanks for your reponse!
