The 'original' kitchen stove was a camp fire; the 'original' home was a cave; and the 'original' toilet was a quiet spot in the bushes...and the 'original' courtship ritual probably involved a club over the head of the bride....but again, so what? Very little about life today is as it was 'originally'....for better or for worse.

OK, OK....Red it is. I was assuming the OP was referring to the very questionable claim to 'native-ness' of many of today's illegals....a connection about as tenuous, imaginative, and far-fetched as one could get (natives of WHERE, exactly? ), but nevertheless, one often cited when reason and logic don't work....(which, as you know, CAN happen on occasion here on the forum)..
