If they are committing crime back home, what makes these countries think we want those type of people here?
The US is apparently other Countries welfare, stimulus checks and grants. I find it mind boggling we have Americans that are ok with just throwing their own tax money away.
the other countries don't want to send them here, they were requesting assistance in handling them
When the deportees arrive, can't they then check them over and figure out what they will do with them? It's pretty obvious that illegals are more inclined than the law-abiding type to ignore any law that doesn't suit them and that we don't deport anyone except the very worst types.

well for one many of these island are low crime areas. when I lived their we slept with our doors unlocked and our windows open. kids stayed out till all hours of the night, and it was fine.
second of all many of these islands have very low populations and it are often too trusting because it is the everyone knows everyone kind of situation. when these former little kid who used to live around the corner returns, you don't look at him as the ax murderer, you look at him as the little kid who used to play soccer on your lawn with you children.
The Jail on the island I used to live in has probably 50 rooms. There is just not enough space for all the criminals. Civil servants often go two or three months without being paid, the government just cannot afford to house all the criminals. I know it is not the US's problem but i am just giving you background to understand the situation over there.
Our obligation to our country is to deport those criminals (especially the convicted ones) back where they came from, our "obligation", if any, to them ends at our borders - period.
Basically, they're YOUR criminals, YOU deal with it - we already had to deal with them when we should not have had to. That goes for EVERY country crying foul over having to recieve these criminal invaders back into their countries of origin.
I'm sure it takes those deported to the Caribbean just a tad longer to skip back across the border than it does those deported to Mexico.
you think so? you would be surprised. How do you think they get back in?
