In my opinion, it has been an invasion for many years. Otherwise, we would not have untold millions living here illegally. However, our government will never acknowledge this fact, because to do so, would require military intervention, and actual border security. It’s shocking that Obama has ordered our National Guard to retreat from the border in February, despite the escalating violence on the border.
The single word immigration? NO Because that would indicate some sort of control is in fact in place.
Illegal- immigration? That would depend upon the size of said migration.
In the case of what we see flowing accross our southern border I think invasion might very well describe it best.
