It may be true that large areas of the US-Mexican border are un-maned[BP], remote, and desolate;but that does not make the Southren border "wide-open".
A country with secured borders does not have millions crossing illegally at will. Our borders remain open to appease the profiteers of cheap labor and illicit drugs, period. They will remain open as long as palms are sufficiently greased.

Yep. A steady stream of illegals comes through the middle of El Paso, right at the official border port of entry - but they don't even need the fake laser visas, they cross alongside the bridge.

I know this for a fact - there are people in Juarez, for example one woman charges $1000, another charges $600. They gather the soon-to-be illegals up and they wait until it's the right time. Then all they do is walk on over. Not at all difficult.

Pretty good money because then "the time is right" they can bring them to the area - that's all it requires. No hike through the desert, no running. Nothing. They simply go to the crossing area and walk on over.

I highly suspect that "the time is right" is determined by information from the ICE agents themselves, or when the right ones come on duty who will be sure to look the other way. It could not be more under the agents noses than this.

And also we have not heard or read of any shortage in drugs for the addicts. No addicts are turning to methodone clinics because of a lack of heroin getting in, or meth or cocaine shortages.

Napolitano's agency is filled with corruption, she either realizes that or does not.

You would have to have an I.Q of nothing not to notice the crisis on our border so my thoughts are perhaps we should investigate every member serving this great country and especially Napalitano's bank accounts to see if it is her palms being graced. Just a thought.

The border is basically wide open.

Easily walked across. There isn't even a ranchers property fence in places.

There are many, many small bridges across the Rio Grande, into Texas.

And it's a fact that they come through in El Paso right at the border bridges, right in town and if it's going on here, you can bet it's going on in all border towns. Sure it might cost the illegal a little more, a whole $600 to be told when the right time has come but it beats hiking 2 or 3 miles through the desert or swimming.

Remember, Nappy has shown herself to be an incompetent and liar in the past. Why does this statement surprise anyone?

Perhaps those calling into question your statements would appreciate it if you would provide what you demand of others. Not just blind statements, but facts (preferably not from politically motivated government officials).

Nor does it mean that we have control or that it is secure
