Do we also need to change the 2nd Amendment because of assault rifles?...

Many weapons end up in the hands of drug cartels which enables them to keep supplying the US with drugs and all the problems associated with illegal drug consumption. It is hard to measure this damage but it does exist.
Why would the 14th amendment need interpreting correctly or otherwise if it's been removed?
The 14th Amendment also has the equally important "Due Process" and "Equal Protection Under the Law" areas...
Maybe she meant re-interpreting one or both of those?...
