That being said Im glad to see these laws having the desired affect of making illegal aliens think twice about coming or staying in the U.S.

Plus or federal immigration system is a joke and needs to make it easier for businesses to get legal low cost labor from south of the border.
It's a cultural thing to be afraid of the police?

We don't need low cost labor from south of the border legal or not. We have millions of unemployed Americans right now. Why should employers be allowed to snub our own workers for cheap foreign labor? They are by law obligated to pay at least minimum wage and many Americans will work for minimum wage.

Are you still under the impression that illegals all work for like $2/hour?

Bull**** I pay several dollars above minimum for my lowest paid employee. I have one American citizen and the rest are legal resident aliens. Last time I posted in the news paper for starting positions in my landscape company no US citizens applied.

And yes it is cultural for some people to be afraid of the police.

No, “we” didn’t hear it here first. Anyone not living under a rock already knew about the problems in the Catholic Church involving pedophile priests and multi-million dollar lawsuits. Understandably, their coffers have dwindled due to an exodus of disgusted parishioners. If not for illegal aliens, many of the churches would have closed. So, yes, the almighty dollar is indeed the impetus for their aiding and abetting illegals.

Two years ago, St. Joseph’s Church in Prospect Heights, Brooklyn, seemed to be headed for extinction. Attendance at Sunday Masses had fallen below 100. The 159-year-old parish’s buildings were crumbling and its coffers were empty.

As the Roman Catholic Church in the United States struggles with an exodus of American-born faithful, its ranks have been replenished by recent Latino immigrants — most of them Mexicans,

Over the past five years the cost to U.S. Catholic dioceses of settling U.S. sex abuse cases involving priests has totaled nearly $2 billion, according to the Center for Applied Research in the Apostolate at Georgetown University in Washington.

Overall, there are 65 million U.S. Catholics, a population stabilized by an influx of Latino immigrants.

So they're filling their coffers by... signing up all these poor people that they give money and food and help to?

I guess this is sort of like how the government is going to fix the debt problem by spending a ton more money?

Separation of Church and State. The Catholic Church and the other pro-illegal churches don't determine the laws of this country.

Maybe these churches could actually do some missionary work in the sending countries, but the irony is that the countries the illegals are fleeing are very often Catholic countries. Kind of shameful.

But it also has to do with the big money that goes to churches for "charity". Yes, it's all about money. Faith based initiatives -- big money pouring in.
